Clean & Organized Cabinet

I am sure most of you have an unorganized cabinet in your kitchen. If you don't, I am impressed! Anyway, I recently decided to work on cleaning up my most unorganized cabinet. I forgot to take a before picture, but you can just use your imagination. It was so full, things would be about to fall out if you opened the cabinet. This was my tupperware (or plastic storage, because not much is actually tupperware) cabinet. It got so bad, I didn't use anything out of that cabinet unless I had to, I would rather put everything in baggies. I had enough! Lowes had a stainless steel cabinet organizer that I purchased. I would love to have these in all my cabinets, but they are a bit pricey. They are however worth it. As you can see, I now have a clean and organized cabinet. I LOVE it. I am able to find anything I need. Now, I just have to keep it looking like this! :)

Organized Cleaning Supply Closet

BEFORE

AFTER
I finally finished cleaning this closet. My mom came over yesterday to help me clean the house. After cleaning up the kitchen and living room, I felt a little energized. Mom said she would help the closet also. I started emptying the closet out and it didn't take long to organize the shelves. At least now, like things are together and nothing is falling off the shelves. I may be hard to tell in the pictures, but it is much better.

An Organized Pantry

I finally finished organizing my pantry. This closet actually used to be our laundry closet. We put shelves in it this year and expanded our storage. The only problem is it has been unorganized.

BEFORE

AFTER

I've put many things in containers and labeled them. I put shelf liners on some shelves to prevent the cans and boxes from falling over. I am happy with the results and happy to be finished. I added a basket, but I am not sure what I want to put in it yet. I also added a nail to hang my reusable bags. I still would like to get something to hang up for my plastic bags. I figured next time I venture to Wal-Mart or K-Mart, I will look.

A Clean Counter - FINALLY

BEFORE

AFTER
This has been one of my goals for the last few weeks and I finally got it done. I am not sure exactly why, but this spot tends to be my dumping ground. I put papers and mail there that I need to take another look at or that I need to file away. I also tend to pick up the house when we are having company and all the papers go here. I am going to try my best to keep that from happening any more. I want to make this are better. It would be nice to use the toaster oven without having to remove all the papers.

"Space Bags"

This week I tried the "Space Bags". They are the bags you vacuum out the air after you fill them up. I started with a clothes basket and a tote full of clothes I needed to store. I ended with two extra large space bags full. I think I am going to really like these bags. There is only one problem I see. The bags are heavy. I may need to use large bags and just use more of them. Overall I think I really like these bags.

The Girls Room

Wow! I looked at Cassidy's and Callie's room this morning and thought "What a mess!" It seems I just helped them clean it up. It quickly became messy again. I decided to put up a net for some of the stuffed animals. It was given to me by a friend (Thanks Heather). I thought I would post a before and after picture. Their room is still not as clean and as organized as I would like it, but it is much better. I also wanted to say thank you to my mom who helped clean up the room and hang the net.
