Homemade Biscuits

I mistakenly bought some self rising flour a while back. I was not sure what to do with it. Every recipe seems to call for all purpose flour. I decided to visit and enter my self rising flour to see if there were any recipes that would call for it. I found this recipe for biscuits that only needed some heavy cream in addition to the flour. I thought I would give it a try. I looked at the reviews and tried to take some of the suggestions. I did not kneed the dough very long. I added a little extra cream and a little bit of sugar. I think the biscuits came out pretty good.

So for breakfast on Sunday morning, we had homemade biscuits and gravy I bought from Kroger that was marked down to $0.79. By the way, if you haven't tried this gravy or another brand like it, I would suggest you try it. I am not very good at making homemade gravy. With this gravy, you just put the gravy pouch in boiling water. It is super easy.

Is it as good as the Bob Evans Gravy?

I am not sure I have tried the Bob Evans brand. I have tried a couple of different kinds from Kroger and I think they taste almost the same.
